Your Well-Being Is Our Priority

Strong Courtroom Representation For SSD Federal Court Appeals

If the Social Security Appeals Council has denied your request for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits, you can file an appeal in the federal district court within 60 days.

At KBAR Legal Services, LLP, we handle Social Security Disability (SSD) appeals in both the northern and southern districts of Indiana. We often handle advanced appeals for other attorneys who trust in our knowledge of disability law and federal court.

We offer a free initial consultation to discuss your case. For your convenience, our Carmel office serves clients in and beyond the Indianapolis area as well as other communities throughout western, central and Southern Indiana.

What To Expect In Federal District Court

When our clients’ SSD claims are denied by the Appeals Council, we file a civil lawsuit against the Social Security Administration. This lawsuit is filed in federal court and is heard by a district court judge.

After your appeal, the judge can deny your request or award disability benefits to you, along with past-due benefits. This is the final level of appeal for a Social Security Disability claim.

Federal court appeals are won by careful preparation and the application of the law based on the specific facts of your case. Our founder has successfully tried hundreds of disability cases in federal court using this approach.
