Helping You Recover Long-Term Disability Benefits
At the Law Office of Annette Rutkowski LLC, I help disabled workers obtain long-term disability benefits when the insurance company has unfairly denied those benefits. The benefits are often connected to the Social Security benefit application and require coordination of benefits.
Whether you need to apply for long-term disability (LTD) benefits or your LTD claim has been denied, I offer a free initial consultation to discuss your case. If you choose to hire me, I charge on the contingency fee basis. This means that if I don’t obtain disability benefits for you, I don’t charge any fees.
With offices in Indianapolis, I represent clients throughout central, western and southern Indiana.
To continue to receive long-term disability benefits after 12 months, you may need to apply for Social Security Disability income. As your lawyer, I can assist you with your Social Security Disability claim.
What Disability Benefits Are Available?
Long-term disability (LTD) plans typically provide a monthly income that is a percentage of your wages at the time you became disabled. If your disability will last longer than 12 months, you may also be eligible for Social Security Disability income.
Most LTD insurance companies also require you to apply for Social Security Disability in order to continue receiving LTD benefits. If you receive disability income from Social Security, insurance companies often reduce payments dollar for dollar. If the Social Security Administration denies your claim, your LTD benefits may stop altogether.
As an attorney who understands both long-term disability and Social Security Disability law, I can help you coordinate your claims so you can receive the maximum benefits you deserve from both programs.
